Jestem z wykształcenia architektem (dyplom BArch School of Architecture, LSU; oraz magisterski Wydziału Architektury Politechniki Śląskiej) i fotografikiem (specjalizacja w School of Art, College of Design, LSU). Moje pasje to astronomia, fotografia, mineralogia, meteorytyka oraz podróże. Obserwacje astronomiczne prowadzę od 1987 roku, od kilku lat kolekcjonuję meteoryty i minerały. Spory kawałek życia spędziłem w Kanadzie i USA, stąd znajomość angielskiego (mówię z akcentem słowiańskim, ale w którymś momencie nastąpiło to przełączenie gdzieś głęboko w czaszce, które pozwala mi podejrzewać, że mogę o sobie pisać native speaker).
