W mormońskiej kulturze
Niezależnie od otaczających go spekulacji etymologicznych i teologicznych znalazł miejsce w mormońskiej kulturze. Imię Jarom (w zapisie Iorama) występuje wśród wyznających mormonizm Maorysów[8].
Jarom był niekiedy przywoływany przez przedstawicieli władz kościelnych. Starszy Boyd K. Packer, członek Kworum Dwunastu Apostołów, wspomniał tego skrybę, historyka i proroka w swoim przemówieniu z kwietnia 1986, poświęconym Księdze Mormona[9]. Starszy Russell M. Nelson, wówczas również posługujący w Kworum Dwunastu Apostołów, wspomniał Jorama w swoim przemówieniu z października 1999 poświęconym świadectwu tego świętego dla mormonizmu tekstu[10].
Jaroma uwieczniono w Illustrated Stories from the Book of Mormon - Volume 4 wydanej w 2018[11][12].
