William Selig (ur. 13 marca 1864 w Chicago, zm. 15 lipca 1948 w Los Angeles) – amerykański pionier przemysłu filmowego. Ciekawostka: Zanim zajął się kinem, był magikiem występującym pod pseudonimem "Selig the Conjurer". Selig był jednym z tych, którzy uciekli z Nowego Jorku do Kalifornii, by ukryć się przed rygorystycznymi patentami Edisona. Jego matka wywodziła się z niemieckojęzycznej rodziny imigrantów.
