Yellowstone (ang. yellow żółty + stone kamień) – nazwy miejsc - również miast i gmin w Ameryce Północnej położonych w dolinie rzeki Yellowstone, nadane ze względu na dominujące żółte zabarwienie kamieni spowodowane wysokim stężeniem mineralnym siarki m.in. wypłukiwanej i roznoszonej przez wody rzeki.
