Granice regionu
Granicą regionu na zachodzie jest Atlantyk, na północy graniczy z regionem Hardap, na wschodzie i południu jest to granica państwowa z RPA.
Podział administracyjny
ǁKaras dzieli się na sześć okręgów: ǁKarasburg, Berseba, Keetmanshoop Rural, Keetmanshoop Urban, Lüderitz i Oranjemund[3].
