Acer leipoense adalah spesies mapel, endemik di barat daya Sichuan, Tiongkok barat daya. Spesies ini termasuk spesies terancam punah yang tumbuh pada ketinggian 2.000–2.700 m.[1][2]

Pohon ini merupakan pohon kecil peluruh yang tumbuh hingga mencapai tinggi 8 meter. Daunnya memiliki lobus dangkal dengan tiga lobus, panjang 9–11 cm dan lebar 7–12 cm.[2]
