Achyranthes adalah genus tanaman obat dan tanaman hias dalam keluarga bayam-bayaman, Amaranthaceae. Chaff flower adalah nama umum untuk tanaman dalam genus ini.[2] Spesies Hawaii (A. divaricata, A. humile, dan A. sandwicensis) dikenal dalam bahasa Hawaii sebagai kuluʻī.[3]
Analisis morfologi dan filogenetik tahun 2024 oleh Vanessa Di Vincenzo et al. menggabungkan genus Achyropsis dan genus Hawaii Nototrichium ke dalam Achyranthes untuk menjadikannya monofiletik. Genus ini dicirikan oleh bunga soliter yang fertil.[4]
