Adenanthos meisneri, yang dikenal secara umum sebagai prostrate woollybush, adalah spesies semak dalam keluarga Proteaceae. Spesies ini merupakan endemik di barat daya Australia Barat.[2]

Deskripsi

Tumbuhan ini biasanya tumbuh hingga setinggi 1 meter (3 ft 3 in) dan memiliki daun dengan panjang hingga 80 mm (3,1 in) dan lebar sekitar 7 mm. Bunganya muncul terutama antara bulan September hingga Desember di wilayah asli spesies ini. Bunga-bunga tersebut memiliki perianth berwarna merah-ungu hingga ungu pucat (panjang hingga 30 mm) dan berambut kelenjar. Putiknya memiliki panjang hingga 40 mm (1,6 in).[2]

Etimologi

Spesies ini pertama kali dideskripsikan secara resmi pada tahun 1845 oleh ahli botani Johann Lehmann dalam Plantae Preissianae.[1] Spesimen tipe dikumpulkan dari kaki Darling Scarp oleh Ludwig Preiss pada tahun 1839.[1]

Spesies ini rentan terhadap penyakit mati pucuk yang disebabkan oleh Phytophthora cinnamomi.[3]
