Alexey Leonidovich Pajitnov[a] (lahir 16 April 1955) adalah seorang perancang permainan video dan insinyur komputer asal Rusia yang mengembangkan Tetris saat bekerja di Pusat Komputer Dorodnitsyn dari Akademi Sains Soviet, sebuah pusat riset dan pengembangan yang didirikan oleh pemerintah Uni Soviet.
Ia baru mulai mengambil royalti dari ciptaannya pada 1996 saat ia dan Henk Rogers mendirikan The Tetris Company.[1]
