Amorphophallus gigas adalah tumbuhan dari keluarga talas-talasan Araceae, yang berasal dari Sumatra.[1][2] Tumbuhan ini juga dikenal sebagai Amorphophallus brooksii. Spesies ini menyerupai kerabat dekatnya, Amorphophallus titanum dan Amorphophallus decus-silvae, karena memiliki spadiks yang sangat besar yang dikelilingi oleh spata yang juga sangat besar. Pada spesies ini, perbungaan dapat mencapai tinggi 3,4 m (11 ft), berbau daging busuk, dan diserbuki oleh lalat. Menurut Bown, spesimen rekor memiliki tinggi 4,36 m (14,3 ft), dengan spadiks sepanjang 15 m (49 ft).[3] Umbinya, yang berupa kormus, merupakan yang terbesar kedua setelah A. titanum dengan berat mencapai 70 kg (150 pon).[4]
