Apotreubia adalah genus lumut hati dalam famili Treubiaceae.[1][2] Terdapat dua spesies, yaitu Apotreubia nana, yang ditemukan di wilayah subalpin Nugini,[3] dan Apotreubia pusilla, yang memiliki sebaran disjungt antara Asia timur (Himalaya hingga Jepang) dan British Columbia.[4][5]

Nama genus Apotreubia diambil untuk menghormati Melchior Treub (1851–1910), seorang botaniwan asal Belanda. Ia bekerja di Kebun Raya Bogor di Buitenzorg di pulau Jawa, sebelah selatan Batavia, Hindia Belanda, dan mendapatkan pengakuan atas karyanya mengenai flora tropis.[6]
