Asam medronat (basa konjugat, medronat), juga dikenal sebagai metilena difosfonat, adalah bisfosfonat terkecil. Kompleksnya dengan teknesium radioaktif yakni asam medronat 99mTc, digunakan dalam kedokteran nuklir untuk mendeteksi kelainan tulang, termasuk metastasis.
