Ohwia caudata, atau buah cau sebelumnya ditempatkan di genus Desmodium (sebagai D. caudatum ), adalah tanaman pengikat nitrogen gugur dalam keluarga Fabaceae. Itu ditemukan di India, Cina, Taiwan dan bagian lain di Asia .[3] Semak tumbuh setinggi sekitar 15 m (49 ft) tinggi.[4] Hal ini terkait dengan Arthroclianthus, Nephrodesmus dan Hanslia .[5] Daun dan akar tanaman digunakan sebagai insektisida .[4]
