Calceolaria obtusa adalah spesies tumbuhan berbunga dalam famili Calceolariaceae. Tumbuhan ini merupakan subperdu atau perdu yang endemik di Ekuador bagian selatan.[2]
Hambatan utama bagi aliran gen genus ini adalah isolasi ekogeografis. Berasal dari pegunungan Andes bagian selatan yang terletak di Chili. Tumbuhan berbunga ini juga merupakan salah satu tanaman penghasil minyak terbesar.[butuh rujukan]
