Ceratocaryum adalah kelompok tumbuhan dalam famili Restionaceae yang dideskripsikan sebagai genus pada 1836.[1][2] Seluruh genus ini endemik di Provinsi Tanjung di Afrika Selatan.[3]

Dua spesies dalam genus ini, Ceratocaryum argenteum dan Ceratocaryum pulchrum, memiliki metode penyebaran biji yang tidak biasa. Bijinya meniru tampilan dan bau kotoran antelop. Hal ini menipu kumbang kotoran untuk mengumpulkan dan mengubur biji tersebut.[4][5][6]
