Chasmanthieae adalah tribus kecil dari rumput-rumputan dalam anak suku Panicoideae. Tribus ini termasuk dalam garis keturunan basal di dalam anak suku tersebut dan hanya memiliki tujuh spesies dalam dua marga, yaitu Bromuniola dengan satu spesies di Afrika dan Chasmanthium dari Amerika Utara.[1] Semuanya menggunakan jalur fotosintesis C3.[2]
