Chordifex dimorphus adalah spesies tumbuhan asal Australia. Tumbuhan ini merupakan perenial, dioesius herba yang ditemukan di wilayah Sydney dan Blue Mountains. Sering terlihat tumbuh di tanah berbatu dengan tinggi 30 hingga 100 cm, dengan batang berdiameter 1 hingga 1,3 mm. Epitet spesifik dimorphus berasal dari Bahasa Latin, yang berarti "dua bentuk". Tumbuhan ini adalah satu dari sekian banyak tumbuhan yang pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh Robert Brown dengan tipe yang dikenal sebagai "(J.) v.v.". Tumbuhan ini muncul dalam karyanya, Prodromus Florae Novae Hollandiae et Insulae Van Diemen, pada tahun 1810.[1][2]
