Cryptocoryne parva adalah tumbuhan air tawar yang sering dibudidayakan di akuarium.[1] Tanaman ini merupakan anggota terkecil yang diketahui dari genus Cryptocoryne. Berasal dari Sri Lanka, tanaman ini tumbuh sebagai roset kecil dengan tinggi antara 5 hingga 8 cm.[2] Daun emers (tumbuh di atas air) sedikit lebih lebar dibandingkan daun yang tumbuh di dalam air.[3] Spatanya berukuran sekitar 1,5 cm.[4]

Tanaman ini tumbuh sangat lambat bahkan dalam kondisi yang baik dan membutuhkan banyak cahaya.[5]
