Dacryodes rubiginosa adalah pohon dalam famili Burseraceae.[2] Epitet spesifik rubiginosa berasal dari bahasa Latin yang berarti 'berwarna karat', merujuk pada trikomanya.[3]

Deskripsi

Dacryodes rubiginosa tumbuh hingga setinggi 20 meter (70 ft) dengan diameter batang hingga 20 sentimeter (8 in). Bunganya berambut halus (tomentose). Buah berbentuk elipsoid berukuran panjang hingga 25 cm (10 in).[3]

Distribusi dan habitat

Dacryodes rubiginosa tumbuh secara alami di Semenanjung Malaysia dan Borneo. Habitatnya adalah hutan dataran rendah dari permukaan laut hingga ketinggian 200 meter (700 ft).[3]
