Dampiera dysantha, yang dikenal sebagai shrubby dampiera, adalah perdu kecil dalam famili Goodeniaceae.[2] Spesies ini tumbuh hingga setinggi 70 cm.[2] Bunganya berwarna biru, atau kadang-kadang putih hingga ungu muda, dan bagian luarnya tertutupi oleh rambut-rambut berwarna abu-abu dan karat.[2][3] Bunga ini umumnya muncul antara bulan September dan Oktober di wilayah asalnya.[2]

Spesies ini pertama kali dideskripsikan secara resmi sebagai varietas dari Dampiera rosmarinifolia oleh ahli botani Inggris George Bentham dalam Flora Australiensis pada tahun 1868.[1]
