Ekmanochloa adalah genus tumbuhan dalam suku rumput-rumputan (Poaceae) yang endemik di Kuba.[1][2]
Deskripsi
Habitusnya berupa rumput menahun. Batangnya tegak; dengan panjang 38–63,25–100 cm. Buku batang menyempit atau membengkak. Daun dibedakan menjadi pelepah dan helaian, atau dengan helaian yang umumnya tereduksi, mengalihkan fungsi fotosintesis ke pelepah dan batang. Helaian daun berbentuk linier atau lanset.[3]
