Euthemis minor adalah tumbuhan dalam keluarga Ochnaceae. Epithet spesifik minor berasal dari bahasa Latin yang berarti "kecil", merujuk pada ukuran spesies ini yang lebih kecil jika dibandingkan dengan E. leucocarpa.[3]

Deskripsi

Euthemis minor tumbuh sebagai perdu atau pohon kecil yang tingginya mencapai 5 meter (20 ft). Bunganya berwarna kemerahan saat segar. Buahnya yang cenderung bulat berukuran hingga 06 cm (2,4 in) diameternya.[3]

Distribusi dan habitat

Euthemis minor tumbuh secara alami di Sumatra, Semenanjung Malaya, dan Borneo. Habitatnya adalah hutan dataran rendah hingga submontana, termasuk hutan kerangas, dari ketinggian permukaan laut hingga 1.250 meter (4.000 ft).[1][3]
