Galuh Tajimalela
Galuh Tajimalela, adalah pelukis kontemporer kelahiran Bandung tahun 1970. Ia menempuh pendidikan di Fakultas Seni Rupa dan Desain Institut Kesenian Jakarta. Saat ini ia tinggal bersama istri dan ketiga putrinya di Depok Jawa Barat.[1]
Ia seorang inovator di dunia seni cat air. Ia melihat lebih dari sekadar teknik—baginya, cat air adalah medium untuk eksplorasi tanpa batas, menggabungkan presisi realisme dengan kebebasan dekoratif. Selain kertas, ia kerap menggunakan kanvas—media yang tidak lazim untuk menggoreskan cat air—dalam setiap karyanya.
Memulai karier dengan pendekatan realis, Galuh kemudian menemukan cara untuk memecahkan batasan tradisional cat air. Ia bereksperimen dengan bentuk, pola, dan tekstur yang menghadirkan perspektif baru terhadap medium ini. Setiap sapuan kuasnya membawa narasi visual yang kaya dan unik.
