Gemini 1 adalah uji terbang tanpa awak pertama dari pesawat ruang angkasa Gemini dalam program Gemini NASA. Tujuan utamanya adalah untuk menguji integritas struktural dari pesawat ruang angkasa baru dan ICBM Titan II modifikasi. Uji terbang itu juga merupakan tes pertama dari pelacakan dan sistem komunikasi baru untuk program Gemini dan memberikan pelatihan untuk kru dukungan darat untuk misi berawak pertama.
Pesawat ruang angkasa itu tetap melekat pada tahap kedua roket. Misi berlangsung selama tiga orbit sementara data uji diambil, tapi pesawat ruang angkasa tinggal di orbit selama hampir 64 orbit sampai orbit decay karena gaya tarik atmosfer. Pesawat ruang angkasa itu tidak dimaksudkan untuk recovered; pada kenyataannya, lubang dibor melalui perisai panas untuk memastikan perisai itu tidak akan bertahan re-entry.
