Grevillea pieroniae adalah spesies tumbuhan dalam suku protea yang endemik di Australia.[2]
Etimologi
Epitet spesifik pieroniae diambil dari nama seniman botani dan penulis Margaret Pieroni untuk menghargai kontribusinya dalam kemajuan pengetahuan tentang flora Australia.[1]
Deskripsi
Spesies ini berupa semak tegak yang jarang-jarang, tumbuh setinggi 05–15 m (16–49 ft) dan selebar sekitar 1 m (3 ft 3 in). Bunganya yang berwarna putih muncul dalam perbungaan aksilar. Tumbuhan ini berbunga dari pertengahan musim dingin hingga musim semi, dan berbuah pada akhir musim semi.[1]
Distribusi dan habitat
Spesies ini ditemukan di Taman Nasional Stirling Range di bioregion IBRA Dataran Esperance, di barat daya Australia Barat.[2] Tumbuhan ini tumbuh di dekat aliran air dan area dengan drainase terhambat di hutan marri-jarrah dan semak belukar proteaceous.[1]
