Heuchera brevistaminea adalah spesies langka tumbuhan berbunga dalam suku saxifrage[2] yang dikenal dengan nama umum Laguna Mountains alumroot. Tumbuhan ini endemik di Pegunungan Laguna di Kabupaten San Diego, California.[3] Tumbuhan ini tumbuh di celah batuan dan tebing curam di habitat chaparral dan hutan pinus kuning.[4] Ini adalah herba perenial berimpang yang menghasilkan perbungaan setinggi hingga 25 sentimeter. Bunganya berwarna merah muda cerah atau magenta.[5]
Ira L. Wiggins melaporkan spesies ini dari Sierra Juarez yang berdekatan di Baja California,[6] namun tidak ada spesimen untuk memverifikasi klaim ini.[7]
