Holttumochloa adalah genus bambu asal Malaysia dalam suku rumput-rumputan yang asli dari hutan perbukitan di Semenanjung Malaysia. Genus ini terkadang dimasukkan ke dalam genus Bambusa.[1][2]

Nama genus Holttumochloa diambil untuk menghormati Richard Eric Holttum (1895–1990), seorang ahli botani dan penulis berkebangsaan Inggris.[3]
