Ischaemum jayachandranii adalah spesies tumbuhan menahun yang terancam kritis dalam keluarga Poaceae. Tumbuhan ini ditemukan tumbuh di daerah berawa dan di sawah-sawah di Distrik Kannur di Kerala, India. Spesies ini dinamai menurut Dr. Velukutty Jayachandran Nair, sebagai pengakuan atas kontribusinya terhadap spesies rumput di India, yang juga mengoleksi spesimen tersebut.[1][2]
