Israel Dostrovsky (Ibrani: ישראל דוסטרובסקי) (29 November 1918 – 28 September 2010) adalah seorang kimiawan fisika Israel, presiden kelima Institut Sains Weizmann, dan penerima Penghargaan Israel tahun 1995 dalam bidang ilmu pasti.
Masa kecil
Israel Dostrovsky lahir di Odessa, bekas USSR, pada 1918 dan berimigrasi ke Eretz-Israel saat masih bayi dengan orangtuanya pada 1919, memakai kapal “Ruslan”. Ayahnya, dematologis terkenal Arieh Dostrovsky, menjadi pendiri jurusan kedokteran dari Universitas Ibrani dan rumah sakit Hadassah. Sepupu pertamanya, Yaacov Dori (nama lahir Yakov Dostrovsky) menjadi Kepala Staf IDF pertama.[1]
