John Benjamin Hickey (lahir 25 Juni 1963) adalah seorang aktor asal Amerika Serikat, yang berkarier di teater, film dan televisi. Ia memenangkan Tony Award 2011 untuk Penampilan Terbaik oleh Aktor Pendukung dalam Drama atas penampilannya sebagai Felix Turner dalam The Normal Heart.

Kehidupan awal

Hickey lahir di Plano, Texas, dan lulus dari SMA Plano Sr.[1] pada tahun 1981. Ia kuliah di Universitas Negeri Texas - San Marcos dari tahun 1981 hingga 1983, di mana ia aktif di jurusan teater. Ia memperoleh gelar sarjana dalam bahasa Inggris di Universitas Fordham pada tahun 1985.[2][3]

Kehidupan pribadi

Hickey adalah seorang gay. Sejak tahun 2003, pasangannya adalah penulis skenario dan produser televisi Jeffrey Richman.[4]
