Juncus sarophorus, yang dikenal sebagai broom rush atau fan-flowered rush, adalah spesies tumbuhan berbunga dalam famili Juncaceae.[1] Tumbuhan ini asli dari Australia bagian tenggara dan seluruh Selandia Baru kecuali Kepulauan Kermadec, serta telah diperkenalkan ke Britania Raya.[2] Tumbuhan ini merupakan tanaman menahun yang membentuk rumpun padat di area basah dan cenderung bersifat invasif (gulma); batangnya dapat mencapai panjang 2 m (6 ft), namun melengkung ke bawah sehingga tinggi keseluruhan tanaman ini lebih mendekati 1 m (3 ft).[1]
