Kanon minor
Kanon minor adalah anggota staf pada pendirian katedral atau gereja kolegiat. Setidaknya di satu yayasan, jabatan tersebut mungkin dikenal sebagai "imam-vikaris".[1]
Kanon minor adalah pastor dan mengambil bagian dalam kebaktian sehari-hari tetapi bukan bagian dari Kapitel formal.[2] Mereka kadang-kadang, tetapi tidak secara eksklusif, pastor yang lebih junior, sering dipilih karena kemampuan menyanyi mereka, yang telah melayani kurasi, biasanya di gereja paroki.[3]
