Kerriochloa adalah genus tanaman dari Asia Tenggara dalam suku rumput-rumputan (Poaceae).[5] Satu-satunya spesies yang diketahui adalah Kerriochloa siamensis, yang merupakan tanaman asli Thailand dan Vietnam.[2][6]

Nama genus Kerriochloa diambil untuk menghormati Arthur Francis George Kerr (1877–1942), seorang dokter medis asal Irlandia.[7] Epitet spesifik tatanama binomial Latin siamensis berarti berasal dari Siam (nama lama untuk Thailand).[8] Baik genus maupun spesies ini pertama kali dideskripsikan dan dipublikasikan dalam Hooker's Icon. Pl. Vol. 35 pada tabel 3494 tahun 1950.[6]
