Komando Resor Militer
Komando Resor Militer atau yang lebih dikenal dengan sebutan Korem adalah satuan teritorial yang berada di bawah Komando Daerah Militer (Kodam).
Korem membawahi beberapa Komando Distrik Militer (Kodim), satuan pendukung seperti Ajudan Jenderal, Polisi Militer, Zeni Bangunan, Pembekalan Angkutan, Peralatan, Komunikasi dan Elektronika, Kesehatan Wilayah dan lain-lain. Bahkan ada Korem yang mempunyai Yonif teritorial sendiri, seperti Korem 072/Pamungkas mempunyai Yonif Mekanis 403/Wirasada Pratista sebagai Yonif teritorial. Korem dipimpin oleh seorang Komandan Resor Militer yang biasa disebut (Danrem) dengan pangkat Brigjen TNI untuk tipe A dan Kolonel untuk tipe B.[1]

Keputusan Presiden Nomor: 27 Tahun 2019 tentang Pembentukan Komando Gabungan Wilayah Pertahanan dan Peningkatan Status 23 Komando Resor Militer (Korem) dari Tipe B menjadi Tipe A, tanggal 11 September 2019.
