Licuala ferruginea adalah spesies palem dari genus Licuala. Tumbuhan ini ditemukan di Singapura, termasuk di Cagar Alam Bukit Timah.[1][2] Tumbuhan ini juga ditemukan di Semenanjung Malaysia.[3][4] Ini adalah palem kecil dengan batang yang pendek.[2] Tumbuhan ini memiliki antara 10 dan 13 anak daun.[2] Anak daun bagian tengah adalah yang terpanjang dan dapat tumbuh hingga satu meter.[2] Bunganya memiliki ovarium yang berbulu.[5] Buahnya berwarna merah muda saat muda dan hitam saat matang.[5]
