Lobus parietal adalah salah satu dari empat lobus utama otak besar pada otak mamalia. Lobus parietal terletak diatas lobus temporalis dan dibelakang lobus frontal dan sulkus pusat.
Lobus parietal menggabungkan informasi sensorik (indrawi) dalam modalitas yang berbeda, yang mencakup indra spasial dan navigasi (propriosepsi), area reseptif sensorik utama untuk indra sentuhan pada korteks somatosensorik, yang berada posterior terhadap sulkus tengah di girus pascatengah,[2] dan aliran dorsal sistem visual. Input sensoik utama dari kulit (sentuhan, suhu dan rasa sakit) diproses oleh lobus ini, melalui talamus.
Beberapa wilayah di lobus parietal berperan penting dalam pengolahan bahasa.
