Monstera spruceana adalah spesies tumbuhan dalam genus Monstera yang berasal dari Amerika Tengah dan Amerika Selatan, mulai dari Kosta Rika hingga Bolivia.[1][2] Dinamai menurut Richard Spruce, Monstera spruceana merupakan tumbuhan merambat yang saat fase juvenil memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menempel pada batang pohon, kemudian saat dewasa mengembangkan daun menyirip, meskipun terkadang hanya satu sisi yang menyirip. Bentuk dewasa dari spesies ini sangat mirip dengan Monstera subpinnata dan Monstera dilacerata.[3] Tumbuhan ini digunakan sebagai obat tradisional oleh masyarakat Shuar dan Kichwa.[4][5]
