Murbab

Murbab adalah alat musik tradisional Suku Karo dari Sumatera Utara yang termasuk alat musik dalam kategori instrumen berdawai dan satu-satunya alat musik Karo yang dimainkan dengan cara digesek.[1] Alat musik murbab dapat dimainkan secara solo dan juga ansambel sebagai melodi dan keberadaanya sampai saat ini sudah jarang ditemukan pada masyarakat Karo dan diperkirakan telah punah.[2]
