Open Letter to Hobbyists

Open Letter to Hobbyists adalah sebuah surat terbuka yang ditulis oleh Bill Gates, pendiri bersama Microsoft, kepada para penggemar komputer pribadi pertama, yang berisi keprihatinan Gates atas pelanggaran hak cipta perangkat lunak yang terjadi di kalangan penggemar, terutama terhadap perangkat lunak perusahaannya.
Dalam surat tersebut, Gates menyatakan rasa frustrasinya dengan sebagian besar penggemar komputer yang memakai perangkat lunak Altair BASIC milik perusahaannya tanpa membelinya.
