Philippiamra adalah genus tumbuhan berbunga dalam keluarga bunga musim semi Montiaceae. Spesiesnya ditemukan di Peru, Chili, dan Argentina.[1] Awalnya dideskripsikan pada tahun 1891, genus ini dihidupkan kembali selama revisi taksonomi Montiaceae tahun 2025.[2]

It was necessary because the name Silvaea Phil. is not legitimate per the rules. This might seem to be "petty," but it is not. If the rules are not followed, taxonomy descends into the chaos that necessitated the establishment of rules in the first place.
