Phryma oblongifolia adalah spesies tumbuhan berbunga dalam famili Phrymaceae, yang berasal dari Asia beriklim sedang ke arah selatan hingga Himalaya dan Vietnam utara.[1] Spesies ini pertama kali dideskripsikan oleh Gen-ichi Koidzumi pada tahun 1929.[3] Statusnya sebagai spesies terpisah biasanya tidak diterima, dan dianggap sebagai varietas dari Phryma leptostachya. Pada tahun 2014, perbedaan antara P. leptostachya Amerika Utara dan P. oblongifolia Asia didukung, berdasarkan bukti morfologis dan studi filogenetika molekuler sebelumnya.[4][2] Per April 2022, spesies ini diakui oleh Plants of the World Online.[1]
