Protea cryophila, atau dikenal sebagai snowball sugarbush, snow protea, atau snowball protea,[2] adalah semak berbunga dari genus Protea. Tumbuhan ini endemik di Cederberg.

Semak ini padat, berkayu, tumbuh mencapai diameter 3 m (9,8 ft), dan berbunga dari bulan Januari hingga April.[3][4] Kebakaran menghancurkan tanaman ini, tetapi benihnya tetap bertahan. Benih disimpan di dalam tudung, dilepaskan setelah periode yang lama, dan disebarkan melalui angin. Tanaman ini bersifat uniseksual. Penyerbukan terjadi melalui aktivitas hewan pengerat. Tumbuhan ini tumbuh di tanah batu pasir pada celah-celah batuan di ketinggian 1.750–1.900 m (5.740–6.230 ft).[5]
