Sabal uresana, yang umumnya dikenal sebagai palem Sonora, adalah spesies pohon palem yang berasal dari kaki bukit Sierra Madre Occidental di barat laut Meksiko (negara bagian Chihuahua dan Sonora). Epitet spesifiknya, "uresana", merujuk pada Ures, Sonora, sebuah kota di dalam wilayah sebarannya.[2] Tanaman ini terancam oleh kehilangan habitat. Spesies ini diketahui sebagai satu-satunya tanaman inang yang diketahui untuk Hemipeplus pollocki.[3]
