Schlumbergera lutea, sinonim Hatiora epiphylloides, adalah spesies tumbuhan berbunga dalam keluarga Cactaceae, subkeluarga Cactoideae, yang berasal dari tenggara Brasil.[1] Tanaman ini merupakan epifit bersemak, dengan batang pipih dan bunga berwarna kuning cerah.

Deskripsi

Schlumbergera lutea adalah epifit dengan kebiasaan tumbuh bersemak dan batang yang sering menggantung. Batangnya terdiri dari segmen-segmen yang agak segitiga, sepanjang 2–3 cm (0,8–1,2 in) dan lebar hingga 15 cm (5,9 in). Tanaman ini memiliki areola yang sangat kecil tanpa duri. Bunganya berwarna kuning cerah, dengan panjang 1–2 cm (0,4–0,8 in).[2]

Taksonomi

Spesies ini pertama kali dideskripsikan pada tahun 1935 sebagai Rhipsalis epiphylloides. Tanaman ini dipindahkan ke genus Hatiora pada tahun 1983.[3] Batas genus dalam suku tempatnya bernaung, Rhipsalideae, telah lama tidak jelas. Berdasarkan studi filogenetik molekuler pada tahun 2011, spesies ini dipindahkan ke genus Schlumbergera. Karena nama "Schlumbergera epiphylloides" telah digunakan untuk spesies yang berbeda, Calvente dan Zappi menerbitkan nama pengganti Schlumbergera lutea.[4][5] Terdapat dua subspesies, yaitu S. l. bradei[6][7] dan S. l. lutea.[8][9]

Distribusi

Schlumbergera lutea ditemukan di tenggara Brasil,[1] di sekitar Rio de Janeiro dan São Paulo.[2]
