Stigmastanol atau sitostanol adalah fitosterol yang ditemukan dalam berbagai sumber tumbuhan. Mirip dengan ester sterol dan ester stanol, stigmastanol menghambat penyerapan kolesterol dari makanan.[2][3][4]

Stigmastanol adalah produk dari reduksi β-sitosterol[5] dan hidrogenasi stigmasterol.[6]
