Tacinga braunii adalah spesies tumbuhan dalam keluarga Cactaceae.

Distribusi dan habitat

Spesies ini endemik di Brasil bagian timur, dengan persebaran yang terbatas di wilayah timur laut Minas Gerais di lembah sungai Jequitinhonha, tempatnya tumbuh di singkapan batuan gneiss atau granit.[2] Tumbuhan ini diserbuki oleh burung kolibri.[2] Habitat alaminya adalah hutan kering subtropis atau tropis dan gurun panas. Spesies ini terancam oleh hilangnya habitat.[butuh rujukan]
