Frank Vincent Zappa (21 Desember 1940 – 4 Desember 1993) adalah seorang komposer, gitaris, penyanyi, sutradara film, dan satiris dari Amerika Serikat. Dalam masa hidupnya ia menghasilkan lebih dari 60 album. Ia selalu memilih musisi terbaik untuk mengiringinya, seperti Adrian Belew, Terry Bozzio, Aynsley Dunbar, Lowell George, Jean-Luc Ponty, Ruth Underwood, George Duke, Vinnie Colaiuta, Mike Keneally, dan Steve Vai. Ia meninggal pada 1993 karena kanker prostat dan dimakamkan di Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery di Westwood, California.
