George Seaton (17 April 1911 – 28 Juli 1979) adalah seorang penulis naskah, pengarang drama, sutradara dan produser film serta pengarah teater asal Amerika.
Kehidupan dan karier
Seaton lahir dengan nama George Stenius di South Bend, Indiana, berdarah Swedia, dan dibaptis sebagai Katolik Roma. Ia dibesarkan di kawasan Yahudi Detroit, dan menyebut dirinya sendiri sebagai "Shabas goy". Sehingga, ia mempelajari bahasa Ibrani di Yeshiva Yahudi Ortodoks dan bahkan ikut bar mitzvah.[1]
Seaton wafat akibat kanker pada Beverly Hills, California pada 1979.
