Jahnu Barua (bahasa Assam: জাহ্নু বৰুৱা, bahasa Hindi: जाहनू बरूवा) (1952– ) adalah seorang sutradara India pemenang penghargaan nasional dan internasional berganda dari Assam[1] Ia menyutradarai sejumlah film berbahasa Assam dan Hindi, dan bersama dengan Bhabendra Nath Saikia menjadi salah satu pelopor sinema seni rupa Assam. Ia paling dikenal di luar Assam untuk film Hindi-nya Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara, sebuah drama yang menggunakan prinsip-prinsip Gandhisme untuk cerita tematiknya.
