Sikloalkana
Sikloalkana (disebut juga naftena - jangan terbalik dengan naftalena) adalah sebuah tipe alkana yang mempunyai satu atau lebih cincin atom karbon pada struktur kimia molekulnya. Alkana sendiri merupakan senyawa organik hidrokarbon yang hanya mempunyai ikatan kimia tunggal pada struktur kimianya. Sikloalkana sendiri hanya terdiri dari atom karbon (C) dan hidrogen (H) dan merupakan senyawa jenuh karena tak ada ikatan C-C rangkap untuk bisa ditambahkan hidrogen. Rumus kimia umum untuk sikloalkana adalah CnH2(n+1-g) di mana n = jumlah atom C dan g = jumlah cincin dalam molekul. Sikloalkana dengan cincin tunggal dinamai sama sesuai urutan alkana mereka: siklopropana, siklobutana, siklopentana, sikloheksana, dsb.
